HVWAC WEEKLY REPORTS - 10/9/07

(Oct. 9) - The College of Staten Island has never lost a Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) regular
season soccer game, and after this past week's action, it appears as if CSI's first loss is not coming anytime soon. The
Dolphins defeated both Saint Elizabeth and Mount Saint Vincent to all but clinch their third straight regular season crown.
In other action, both Cooper Union and St. Joseph's remained in first place in tennis and volleyball, respectively. The
HVWAC released its weekly report today.

conference schedule for the third straight season. As a result, the Dolphins are the #1 seed for the upcoming HVWAC
Championships, and also earned HVWAC Player and Rookie of the Week honors. In other action, Sarah Lawrence stayed hot in
women's tennis while Mount Saint Vincent and CSI scored huge conference wins in volleyball. The HVWAC released its fall weekly
reports today.

                ST. JOSEPH'S  TO COMPETE AT USCAA VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

(Oct. 18) - The USCAA released the eight institutions that will compete for this year’s USCAA Women’s Volleyball National
Championship which will be hosted by Taylor University Ft. Wayne in Fort Wayne, Indiana from October 25-27. St. Joseph’s
College (NY) – Brooklyn accepted an invitation extended earlier in the week after finishing 6th in the final USCAA Coaches’ Poll,
and currently hold an overall record of 12-2.

ST. JOSEPH'S  SWEEPS MEDGAR EVERS FOR FOURTH STRAIGHT VOLLEYBALL CROWN
                   
(Oct. 17) - Senior Magdalena Wiecek recorded 16 kills and eight digs, and Jamie Mascetti recorded a match high 40 assists as
the St. Joseph's College Women's Volleyball team captured its fourth straight HVWAC Championship with a 3-0 win over Medgar
Evers on Oct. 17. With the win, the Lady Bears are now 15-2 overall and 8-0 in HVWAC play and will be the #1 seed for the
upcoming HVWAC Championships as they seek to go four years without a conference loss.

   CSI CLINCHES THIRD STRAIGHT SOCCER CROWN WITH WIN OVER CCNY

(Oct. 13) - Junior Tina Bellocchio notched her sixth shutout of the 2007 season, and sophomore Tina Chechel scored the game
winning goal as the College of Staten Island clinched its third straight Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Championship
with a 2-0 win over CCNY on Saturday. With the win, the Dolphins improve to 8-6 overall, 4-0 in HVWAC play, and increased their
HVWAC regular season winning streak to 14 games.

(Oct. 2) - The race for the top spot in the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Volleyball competition got a bit more interesting as
three-time defending champion St. Joseph's and their 2006 Final Four opponent - Saint Elizabeth - scored huge conference wins to go into
a virtual tie for first place in the conference. In other action, Mount Saint Vincent scored a shutout win over a former HVWAC member in
soccer, and the Mount also caught fire in tennis. The HVWAC released its fourth weekly report of the school year today.

(Sept. 25) - It would be hard to find a team in the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) more improved than the Women's
Volleyball team at Medgar Evers. After two down seasons, the Cougars came back with a roar this week, scoring three straight HVWAC
wins and putting themselves in position to potentially earn a home match when the HVWAC playoffs roll around. In other action, Cooper
Union began its defense of their HVWAC Tennis Championship with two straight conference victories, and Cross Country season began
conference-wide. The HVWAC released its third fall sports report of the year today.

                                     HVWAC WEEKLY REPORTS - 9/18/07

(Sept. 18) - Mount Saint Vincent became the first HVWAC school to jump ahead in the standings in both soccer and volleyball as the Hudson
Valley Women's Athletic Conference enjoyed its first week of conference play, and the Dolphins were outstanding. In Soccer, the Mount
downed Medgar Evers, 6-0, avenging two double-overtime scares against the Cougars a year ago. In volleyball, MSV scored three wins,
two of which were in conference play. The successes allowed Mount Saint Vincent to be the big winner as the HVWAC weekly awards were
announced today.

                                                   HVWAC WEEKLY REPORTS - 9/11/07

(Sept. 11) - The Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC)opened the 2007-08 academic year on a high note as defending
champion St. Joseph's College scored a huge non-conference win in volleyball, while defending champion Staten Island was equally
impressive during a non-conference women's soccer match against regional powerhouse FDU-Florham. Both teams' respective efforts
allowed them to garner weekly honors as the HVWAC released its first weekly report for the year today.
