Medgar Evers turns in outstanding stretch in volleyball; MSV remains in first place in soccer

(Oct. 2) - The race for the top spot in the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Volleyball competition got a bit
more interesting as three-time defending champion St. Joseph's and their 2006 Final Four opponent - Saint Elizabeth -
scored huge conference wins to go into a virtual tie for first place in the conference. In other action, Mount Saint Vincent
scored a shutout win over a former HVWAC member in soccer, and the Mount also caught fire in tennis. The HVWAC
released its fourth weekly report of the school year today.
