Mount Saint Vincent scores huge wins in soccer/volleyball; CSI rookie turns in huge week for volleyball

(Sept. 18) - The second week of Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) action yielded the first surprise
result of the year as the much anticipated Mount Saint Vincent-Medgar Evers showdown in soccer turned into a minor
skirmish as the Dolphins did not allow a repeat of last year's two double overtime thrillers to take place once again,
defeating the Cougars 6-0 to storm into first place in the HVWAC. In other action, MSV won three straight matches in
volleyball, two of which were against HVWAC competition to jump into first place there as well. The efforts allowed the
Mount to be the big winner in the HVWAC weekly awards as the conference released its weekly report today.
